Five Year Limited Warranty On Cabinets

HomeCrest warrants to the original consumer purchaser, that our Cabinetry will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase. This warranty applies only to products used in residential installations and is not transferable to subsequent owners. This warranty supercedes any and all previous warranties and excludes the Vista, Fairfax, Accent, Shasta, Lotus and Everest product lines, and Great Buy Cabinetry. This Warranty constitutes the exclusive remedy against HomeCrest for all defects in materials and workmanship.

Lifetime Limited Warranty on Drawer Guides and Hinges

Further, door hinges and drawer guides carry a manufacturer's LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY to be free from defect in materials and workmanship under normal use. Replacement hinges and drawer guides are subject to availability from the manufacturer.

General Warranty Guidelines

Should defects in material or workmanship be shown to exist in any HomeCrest product, HomeCrest may repair or replace, at our option any such defective product covered by our warranty. Further, the warranty does not cover costs associated with shipping or transportation of replacement components, removal or installation costs, loss of time, loss of use, loss of revenues, inconvenience or other incidental damages. Neither does the warranty cover deterioration due to normal wear and tear, damage by misuse, neglect, acts of God, exposure to moisture or extreme heat, abuse and other occurrences beyond the control of HomeCrest.

This warranty shall become void if the cabinets are in any way modified, improperly installed or damaged prior to or during installation, or installed or utilized in other than normal residential applications.

Wood varies in color and characteristics and will exhibit subtle changes as it ages. For example, white-painted face frames will eventually have visible seam lines at the joint areas, and each cabinet wood species will darken or lighten with time. Furthermore, sunlight, smoke, household cleaners and other environmental conditions will also affect the color match of all cabinetry over a period of time. The occurrences are considered to be the nature of the materials and are not covered under this warranty. From time to time HomeCrest will change the design, specifications and materials as conditions require and improvements are developed, Without obligation to make similar changes to products previously manufactured. If a warranty claim is filed after a product has become obsolete, or has undergone design changes, we reserve the right to Honor the warranty in one of the following manners:

• To replace the affected component with a new component of the same style.
• To replace the affected component with a component that is as similar and comparable in style as possible.

If components are replaced, we cannot guarantee that the finish of the new component will match the finish and appearance of existing cabinetry.

ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS WARRANT. HOMECREST CABINETRY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM A BREACH OF THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY OR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. For instance, some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. It is possible that one or more of the above exclusions or limitations may not apply to you.

To obtain replacement under the limited warranty, first contact your authorized HomeCrest Cabinetry dealer or distributor. Proof of purchase is required to obtain benefits from this warranty.
